Hope Saves Lives

As people involved in caring for others at crucial times, we share in the experience of grief and loss.
Salvation Army Officers, counsellors and Chaplains provide support, encouragement and words of comfort on a daily basis to people whose lives have been devastated by the loss of a loved one. But we can all do more.

People need a listening ear, they need support, they need hope.

The training programs available through Hope for Life are designed to help everyone to learn how to respond to people who may be at risk of suicide and those who have been bereaved by suicide.

QPR Suicide Prevention

This program teaches simple steps that anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide.

Living Hope Bereavement support

This program will educate you about different practices to successfully support those bereaved by suicide.

Both programs are delivered online for a small fee and are available to everyone. Hope saves lives.
