Support Groups

Bereavement by Suicide Support Groups provide a safe place where survivors can share experiences and support each other on the journey toward healing. Many people find them to be a vital part of their healing process. Most groups are led by volunteer survivors and diversity of group members vary.

Support groups can be beneficial in allowing survivors to verbalise thoughts and emotions, helping them to connect with their feelings and express them without fear of judgement. Members will discover that they are not alone and they are not “going crazy”, they are just grieving. Being able to speak to others about problems without encountering rejection reinforces feelings of self-worth, helping to re-build self-esteem and self-confidence.

Here you will find a list of the Bereavement by Suicide Support Groups near you.
