Danny Lloyd Thompson

We all miss you so much Danny, but life for you was just too hard
Now life is without your humour, magic tricks and your “Please, just one more cardâ€
As a child you had many accidents from broken bones to crashing billy carts
From your anti ads and fun with props, you would always make us laugh
We always joked that you were mum’s favourite son
And for a moment you were at peace, when you played the drums
We played tennis together and you also enjoyed playing squash
And now without you in our lives, we all just feel so lost
The note you left us gave us just a little peace
So thoughtfully written, to say the very least
To make that choice, you were just so brave
We all just wish that somehow you could have been saved
Â5 February 1961, was a very special day as a beautiful baby boy named Danny Lloyd Thompson was born.
Â
Growing up, Danny was always kind to others.
We have so many wonderful memories of him from playing football to trail bike riding with his older brother Paul
And annoying the neighbours with band practice.
Danny was clever, honest, gentle, caring, funny and always a gentleman.
But he was also lonely, and in pain.
ÂDanny found joy whilst playing the drums and in our eyes he will always be “ simply the best “
  Â
Precious memories are all we have left
When we close our eyes Danny will always be there.
We all love you and miss you enormously……
Mum, Dad, Paul, Jodie, Ella, Jason, family, friends, band members and work mates.
Keep on drumming in heaven forever
